Jack Dawson

Jack S. Dawson is shareholder of the Oklahoma City law firm of MILLER DOLLARHIDE, where he focuses his practice on general civil litigation and appellate practice.

Mr. Dawson worked his way through college and law school as a court reporter, graduating from Central State University and from Oklahoma City University Law School first in his class.

After admission to the bar in 1972, Mr. Dawson began practicing as a trial lawyer, appearing in all courts from Small Claims to the U.S. Supreme Court, trying all types of cases ranging from murder cases to complex civil cases.

Mr. Dawson has served on numerous arbitration panels and has represented numerous clients in arbitration. He is a frequent lecturer on the CLE circuit, speaking on subjects related to trial practice, including arbitration.

Mr. Dawson was ranked first scholastically in his law class all four years and received the OBA Outstanding Law Student Award his senior year (1972).

Charles F. Alden, III

Charles F. Alden, III, is of counsel with the Oklahoma City law firm of MILLER DOLLARHIDE, where he focuses his practice on legal malpractice, trucking accident and general civil litigation. 

Mr. Alden received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Oklahoma State University in 1969 and went on to attend the Oklahoma City University School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 1973. During law school, Mr. Alden was awarded the Oklahoma Bar Association Outstanding Law Student Award, Phi Delta Phi Chapter Graduate of the Year and Province XVII Graduate of the Year, and American Jurisprudence Awards in the subjects of Evidence, Civil Procedure, and Domestic Relations.

Mr. Alden has given numerous presentations for various agencies and organizations on a variety of topics. Mr. Alden has also been an adjunct professor at Oklahoma City University School of Law and currently serves as an Administrative Law Judge for the Oklahoma State Insurance Department.

Mr. Alden served multiple terms as a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association House of Delegates.  From 1992-1998, Mr. Alden was on the Oklahoma Professional Responsibility Tribunal, serving as Chief Master from 1996-1998.

Mr. Alden is a fellow of Litigation Counsel of America, and member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers. Mr. Alden previously served as a Master of the Robert J. Turner American Inn of Court and is presently a Master of the Ruth Bader Ginsberg American Inn of Court.
